    It really does not matter if you have everything in place, the music have to mean something, case in point, Bow Wow, he has a huge following on his Youtube Page, Twitter and Myspace, his album dropped and he moved 18k units, people have to feel involved somehow with the music, that is the only way they feel like buying, they want more, this is the me generation, Me on facebook, Me on myspace, Me on twitter, it is all aboutt he ME

    I agree, people have to feel like buying the music and artist have to do more than just have a large following on social networking sites like twitter, facebook, etc. Artist have to connect with the world using social networking/media but the music has to be good also. I'm no music expert but I feel as though there are only a handful of artist who can sell albums by their name alone.

    It will be interesting to see how Diddy's band DAY26 album does being that he has the band members on twitter and creating a lot of negative & positive conversations online from the Making the Band show.
