I think that's an interesting distinction. Disqus is more about giving sites the tools on building communities by focusing on the discussions. We have a feature called Reactions that aggregates conversations happening elsewhere on the web as well.

Curious to hear your take on using Js-kit vs. the new Disqus.

Interesting. I was fussing at JS-kit because they were showing where my blog was spoken of but without the comments. It seems they want to promo the comment fractures instead of show them. That's ok because for a while Disqus weren't showing my reactions at all...
