    Dr. Butler was my undergraduate professor of sociology, and is my mentor and friend. He has always encouraged my entrepreneurial spirit and reinforced it with solid scholarship and unflappable ethics. Any award he receives is testament to the man's excellence and the demands he makes of his students in the classroom and later in life. Congratulations Dr. Butler.
