I just want to say congrats on your show and I would like to leave a comment on interracial relationships... Well I have been married for 18 yrs and my Husband and I have 4 kids together. My oldest daughter is 17yrs old almost 18yrs on the 15th of February /any way she has a white boyfriend and I couldn't ask for any other for her. He treats her with the upmost respect and the rest of the family also. My younger kids are crazy about him just as well as I am. At the beginning of their relationship he came to my husband and I to ask if he could have our permission to date her. I give him his props on that bcause at this day and time what person ask the parents for permission to take out their child. There are some family members (outside of our home)that don't approve of their relationship ( who cares)lol- everyone is intitled to their own opinion but we raised our kids to love and treat everyone as an equal we dont see color..As long as the individual treats the other with respect love, gentlness and all the above then color shouldn't matter... My daughter is an A student and she attends Paul Lawrence Dunbar Sr. High and she scored over 1600 on her SAT'S(without completeing it) she is very intelligent and has her head on straight so both my Husband and I trust her judgment....
So I feel that color should not matter but their are some lost souls that feels different and I PRAY FOR THOSE INDIVDUALS bcause they are lost inside themselves..

I am sixteen years old and attend a school in Maryland...I feel the next step for Obama to take is to begin to form new regulations when it comes to trusts,mortages,and stocks because we have not changed our ecnomic regulations since the last recession 50 YEARS AGO..THE GREAT DEPRESSION!! this speaks for itself our economy has defiantly changed since then and new regulations need to be created ASAP! with the help of both republicans and democrats I feel our nation is defiantly capable of creating new regulations that will prevent us from getting in a whole like this again.... (this is why eurpoean countries have managed to pass us)
I feel proud to be a part of this change and Blessed to have parents that are sacrificing and sending me to the Presidential Inauguration
through the People to People Program.

On Tuesday Nov 4, I was denied by Constitutional right to vote. I am a 54 year old, Black Female. Federal employee (30 years) in the state of
VA. Can you direct me where to go and what I should do. The story is long, but there is nothing on my part that was not done to ensure I could vote. I need help getting this issue addressed. I feel violated.
I listen to your show every day when I am driving home from work. I wanted to let you know how I look forward to your topics. I know that all your listenersregardless of race, color, gender and generation can indentify with topics.
You put yourself out there for the gena6 and then for getting folks who never thought about it out to register and that what allow us today to look forward to a new day. I still think I am dreaming, because I never thought in my lifetime the US would have a black president. Change has certainly come to the free world.
Lets all give the new president elect the respect and the assistance to make a change. Please bothers and sister let call him Mr. President because he is deserving of it and should not be call bro or any other familiar slange that can tranish this great leader and Commander and Chief of the greatest country in the world.

I enjoy your show. You do wonderful work. However, I have a bone to pick with you. It is always good to hear tips about healthy eating and lifestyles for African Americans. Undersatand, I am not argueing against exercising more; eating more fruits and vegetables and eating less meats. However, I find it irresponsible to give healthcare advice to folks with chronic illnesses WITHOUT knowing their histories or reviewing diagnostic lab results to make a informed assessment about their metabolic status. I am concerned about any diabetic who is told on the radio to stop a medication that was not prescribed by the "teller" who by the way, has never seen the patient. Additionally, you have no disclaimers. One cannot tell a patient to stop taking any medication without laying eyes on a patient. That would be considered malpractice any reputable healthcare provider.
I enjoy listening to your program daily. My 12th year old daughter is also a fan of yours. She was shock and sad to hear the suicidal topic you had on today. As always, it is a pleasure to hear good topic and issues daily. Keep-up the good work we people like you to bring us informative issues.

I would like for you to do a show about churches that only entertain and not preach the gospel. It is amazing to me how there are so many religions yet the bible does not speak of one. Yahweh which is Christ's real name said preach the gospel to the multitudes not go and set up churches, collect money, and entertain the congregation; instead of ministering the truth. the so called church as we know it is bullshit and sell outs to the government; simply wolves in sheep's clothing that tell lies like Adam and Eve ate an apple, that is what bought sin into the world. where at in the bible does it mention them eating an apple? the bible says a fruit. People need to wake up to the truth. and in case if you didnt know the so called black you and i are really the Hebrew Israelites. Shalom

They may have been in this country illegally , however here is a man who has been nominated to lead the most powerful federal agency in the country ,yet he was guilty of not paying his taxes. Maybe I missed something, but aren't you being a bit hypocritical? How close are you and President Obama that you feel that you could send him a video to show him how to step? If you were joking and not serious about sending the video, then why can't others joke as well? I have heard a lot of comments regarding our new President and jokes made, but they have all been from people of color. I don't just mean black either. I do agree that President Obama should be addressed as President Obama and not to do so would be disrespectful, but did we all address former President Bush as President Bush. I do know this, we the people have spoken and the time for change is now. We the people have elected President Obama to lead us and I feel that we, as a people, should not try and make everything that is said racial and if we do, then let's correct ourselves first and foremost before we start talking about others. I am referring to how upset you appeared to be when you heard the comment about the Obama's sexing it up. It could have been a joke, you know, like the one you made about him having no rhythm.

I have an idea for a more reasonable bailout, although it has not been completely thought through, called "A Bailout Proposal for the MCWPF (Middle Class Working Poor)":
Any government bailout funds provided to a company or organization that is found to be designated toward “unscrupulous” acquisitions, travel, expenses, bonuses, parties, meetings, etc. should be recalled by the government immediately and placed into a MCWPF (Middle Class Working Poor Fund). Monies from this fund would be available to assist certain individuals (employed, unemployed, or under-employed, excluding individuals eligible to receive the same service via social services, disability services, etc.) clear debts, purchase affordable health insurance, purchase oil, etc.
Determining Criteria
• Income/Debt ratio below a certain percentage
• Significant outstanding debt
• No bank account
• No active credit cards
• (Ineligible for same/similar services via other government agencies such as social services, disability service, etc.)
Individuals Maintain
• Home Ownership
• Automobile – transportation
How Would This Help?
Economic Spending Stimulation
(1) Individuals receiving the monies would subsequently be in a position to pay off debt; thereby creating eligibility for loans which would allow them to stimulate the economy by spending or starting small businesses and creating jobs (2) (3) Creditors receiving pay-offs would increase profit margins and make more money available to loan – stimulating the spending economy
(2) Direct bailout to the “little guys”
(3) Increase citizen confidence in government

I was listening to your show at work yesterday (2/04/09) between the times of 4:30 – 6:00 and there was a discussion about where one could take belly dancing lessons. I know that Miami Dade Community College offers some courses. These classes are part of their community outreach program which is for non-credit. MDC offers beginning and advance classes for a reasonable fee for approximately 6 to 8 weeks for about $90.00. Tell your listeners to take a look at the schools website.
One can also take belly dancing classes at local dance studio or school for a fee; however I am not sure of any prices. They can simply browse through their local phone directory for locations in their area or simply check out their local public library they have all sort of free activities.

I would like to suggest to you the book "Ask and It Is Given" by Esther/Jerry Hicks that teahes why,what,where and how the Law Of Attraction works.
We live in a Universe of energy everything expends energy outward as does a radio frequency, that energy is picked-up by a like frequency that transmitts and attracts. As my minister Rev. E has taught. "words/thoughts specifically repetitive ones goes out like a skeleton and life puts clothes them and sends them back - as form, manifestations, something tangible.
Everything brother Abram spoke to was true however what he did not say was what was needed in using the LOA to create the life you deserve, which is "feelings" feeling good.
Since everything is energy you must raise your feeling nature to the energy level or frequency of the thing you desire.
For instance the desire to have a million dollars is more about feeling/believing you got it talking/acting accordingly has its own frequency so whom ever desires this for themselves must first believe they already have it, live it, breathe it, see it, FEEL IT, in doing so you no longer are preoccupied with what you don't have you will expend energies that you do have it, which creates a feeling of good, contentment, joy, happiness and peace, when your good feeling nature matches the vibration of that which you desire - form manifests, The wealthy power Elite of this country and the world have known and practice this principle for centuries. these people of power and real wealth tried extremely hard to discredit and tear down the information that was shared after it aired on sistah O show, remember the backlash.
You ask the brother why was it difficult for people, our peole to grasp the concept being discussed, he answered passionately and accurately, I would like to piggy-back on his answer an add I think one of the major blocks to practicing this philosophy is "belief" systems.
In order for change to take place everything that was, espeically those things that are contrary to change needed, must crumble and go. Though spirit lives moves and has its beingness in us, humans live move and have beingness is in what they believe.
In order to embrace this philosophy and embody its purpose, your current belief system must be challenged. blessed, disassembled and rebuilt. what a wonderful opportunity and journey.
Within the LOA is the knowingness that God is everywhere present at all times and in all things
and regardless of what a thing looks like sounds like God is there - human beings label things situations, conditions, circumstances, people, cultures, groups, genders, etc. In doing so labels of bad and good are toss around with its cousins "isms" that plague us collectively as a people individually as a person, creating a race consciousness that breeds and reproduces giving birth to the catastrophies before us,the mess we face today is not just the doing of one man, a group of men, a specific culture of people, the Queen and secret societies their actions mere seedlings - the race consciousness of this counry fertilized and nurtured those seedlings this country is reaping what was sown.
Now lets look at yesterday cartoon from - as a black women - the usual place, anger, outrage, name calling, marching, protesting, ongoing relentless dialogue and conversating about it , amongst ourselves, lamenting about the problem with minimal results or no serious major changes for us as a people of color. Same s... different day.
Now, in keeping with the LOA and using the power within us how do we change the out come of yesterday business as usual tactics using this God given power.
How about instead of just using protesting, marching and anger which harms us as a people more than any thing because we use the anger against ourselves focusing on what we believe we don't have as a culture, why not collectively focus our thoughts and feelings on what we do have ,we do want and deserve. Holding this in consciousness supported further with feelings of peace, contentment and joy. The right and perfect change must take form its the Law. Changing the"race consciousness" in this country forever!!!!
There is not a spot that God is not, God is right there at the New York Post, present when the cartoon was created, present when permission was approved to print it, present when the papers were delivered, present when you saw it. Present now as I write this missive to you. It has provided all of us with a power and a means to create the world and life we deserve
